Ever since I was a little girl, I have memories of running my hands over the glossy photographs in my parent’s National Geographic magazines. I loved the bright images, and It didn’t take long before I was gifted my first film camera as a result. A camera hasn’t been far from my reach ever since.

Through high school, college, and the early stages of my career, I have always had photography to lean on. With 10+ years in the wedding industry, over 5 years in journalism, and so much more, photography was (and likely always will be) a huge part of my life.

But when COVID hit, I had just moved across the country. Between two years of quarantine, several moves, getting engaged (and married), buying a house, and several family deaths…my passion was put on hold for a few years.

Thankfully, I found a creative outlet in other ways, healing my inner child through art and writing, as well as giving myself room to grow. Now, I can confidently pick up my camera again, but this time for myself. This time for purely creating art.
